Lots of clients are familiar with our apples. At the end of harvest each season we squeeze in some time to press fresh apple cider/juice- it is pasteurized and unfiltered. It tastes amazing, and stores for up to a year unrefrigerated. These 5L bag-in-box cartons are for sale from the orchard directly, or send us a message and we'll get you the juice!
We usually start hiring summer staff in January-February. Postings will be here or linked to local websites such as Castanet.

This season, we had a few questions about storage of apples, and our newly minted juice. Here are some Q&As that might help you out.
At what temperature do I store apples? Generally, the best temperature to store apples is around 3-4C, in your refrigerator or a cold room. Don't let them dry out in storage as they won't keep as long.
Do I need to keep your apple juice in the refrigerator? Because the apple juice is pasteurized, you need only store it in the fridge once you open it. The juice can be kept unopened, in its box, at room temperature for up to a year.
Do you make juice from apples that have fallen on the ground? Never. Apples for eating and juicing should never be taken from the ground because ground-dwelling bacteria could make you very sick, or spoil the produce. We do not place ground apples in our bins.
